AUDREY MARIE ELLIS

In 1991, my husband Scott and I were blessed with beautiful twin daughters, Audrey and Kelsey. Our lives were filled with abundant joy and love, for which we were deeply grateful every day. In 2020, our beloved Audrey transitioned from this life. Known by friends, family, and the community as an angelic being, she always made a profound difference in the lives she touched. As a nurse, Ayurvedic practitioner, and yoga teacher, Audrey's vision was to help her community and patients by harmoniously blending Eastern and Western practices.

To honor Audrey’s legacy, our family established the Audrey Marie Ellis Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN #86-2046685). Audrey Marie Ellis was a heart-centered, loving, passionate, and joyful registered nurse who tragically passed away from COVID-19 complications in 2020.

The foundation supports individuals impacted by loss by partnering with various organizations to create safe and supportive spaces where people can gather, share, and honor collective grief and love within the community. Through our efforts, we aim to inspire and continue Audrey's greatest passions: holistic health, community engagement, well-being, and living life fully and authentically.

Kelsey, Audrey’s sister, passionately runs her program, Waves of Grief, focusing on ocean medicine and community connection. For more information, visit wavesofgrief.org. Kelsey shares her love for her sister and her passion for helping others in grief in the IMPACT documentary National Geographic Surf Sister - Ep.2, available here.

Audrey and I were blessed to share many cherished moments together, traveling to sacred sites, meditating, practicing yoga, and participating in healing ceremonies. Although she has passed on, our deep heart connection continues to guide our shared soul work and vision. Together, we strive to help our planet and all beings experience good health, discover joy, and embrace more love.
